About me writer for a marriage biodata

Answer four short questions and get two or three warm, specific sentences for the about me section of a biodata. Edit them to sound like you, then copy.

e.g. a software engineer at a fintech company in Bengaluru

e.g. solving the puzzle behind a difficult problem

e.g. trekking, Bharatanatyam and baking for my nieces

e.g. my family, honesty and a calm home

The three-line formula

The best "about me" lines follow a simple pattern: one sentence about work, one about life outside work, and one about what matters to you. Specific details, such as a place, a habit or a person, make it memorable; adjectives like "simple, homely, God-fearing" don't, because every biodata has them.

Make it yours

The writer gives you a starting point. Read it aloud, change any words that don't sound like you, and add one small detail only you would write. If a parent is writing for a son or daughter, show them the result first: it should sound like them.

Questions families ask

How long should the about me be?

Two or three sentences, about 30 to 60 words.

Is what I type saved?

No. The sentences are put together on your phone and nothing is sent anywhere.

Should a parent write it in third person?

Either works. Third person ("She teaches…") is common when parents write it; first person sounds warmest when the person writes it themselves.
