The opening line
॥ શ્રી ગણેશાય નમઃ ॥ is the most common opening, written in Gujarati script. Families also write શ્રી કૃષ્ણ શરણં મમ (common in Pushtimarg Vaishnav families), a line to their kuldevi, or જય જિનેન્દ્ર for Jain families.
