How to write height on a biodata
Families in India usually think in feet and inches, while relatives abroad and many forms use centimetres. Write both, so nobody has to convert:
Height: 5 ft 4 in (163 cm)
Round to the nearest inch and the nearest centimetre. There's no need for decimals such as 5.4 feet, which confuses people (5.4 feet is about 5 ft 5 in, not 5 ft 4 in).
The formula
One inch is exactly 2.54 cm, and one foot is 12 inches (30.48 cm). To convert, multiply total inches by 2.54, or divide centimetres by 2.54 and split into feet and inches.
