The opening line
॥ श्री गणेशाय नमः ॥ is the most common opening. Families also write शुभ विवाह, ॥ ॐ ॥ or a line to their kuldevi or kuldevta, such as ॥ जय माँ विंध्यवासिनी ॥.
Writing a good Hindi biodata
Keep the Hindi simple
Use the everyday Hindi your family speaks, not heavy Sanskritised words. "व्यवसाय" or "नौकरी" are both fine; so are English words families use anyway, such as इंजीनियर, एम.बी.ए. or सॉफ्टवेयर कंपनी. The aim is that a grandparent and a cousin abroad can both read it.
Names in Devanagari
Write names exactly as the family writes them, and check the spelling carefully, especially surnames.
Numbers
Most Hindi biodatas use English digits (1998, 5 फुट 3 इंच), which everyone reads easily. Devanagari digits (१९९८) are also correct if your family prefers them.
About me and expectations, in your own words
"हँसमुख, मेहनती और परिवार से जुड़ी हुई। काम में नए विचार लाना पसंद है; खाली समय में पढ़ना, गाना और माँ के साथ खाना बनाना।"
It means: cheerful, hard-working and close to her family; likes bringing new ideas to work, and in free time reads, sings and cooks with her mother. Then two lines of अपेक्षाएं about values and practical life.
